About the Event
The reminders of injustice are relentless. We are living through a time of collective trauma, in which the impact on us, our clients, and our communities can go well beyond anger to helplessness and fear. The Association of Nonprofit Specialists has the benefit of having some great guides within our membership to help us continue our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) conversations. Led by Melissa D. Elliott of MDL Coaching and Consulting, and Elizabeth Speck of MindOpen Learning Strategies, this session will allow participants to explore how trauma-informed practices can help them be more effective practitioners. The facilitators will provide a framework and tools for using a trauma lens that participants can put to work right away, to enhance their skills in becoming an anti-racist practitioner - allowing members to continue developing a DEIB lens to the consulting work they do. So mark your calendars and sign up now to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you there and to working together to make positive change possible.
This free virtual event is limited to members of the Association of Nonprofit Specialists. Become a member today!
